How Can I...
Reserve a Study Room
Fresno State students, faculty, and staff may reserve group study rooms for 2 hours at a time. Reservations are made online through the library system.
Instructions for reserving study rooms are available here.
Pick Up Requested Items
Books, videos, CDs, microfilm, and other requested items may be picked up at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Items are generally available one working day after the request is made. To see the status of your request, log into the library system.
Renew Books
Books may be renewed online here or in person at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Note that renewals are only allowed during the week before the materials are due and that overdue books may not be renewed.
Pay Fines
To pay library fines or lost book fees, go to the Circulation Desk on the first floor. If you have questions about fines, talk to the staff in Circulation (278-2551). To see if you owe fines, check your library account.
Check Out a Laptop
Laptops can be checked out from the Laptop Circulation area on the Lower Level of the library.
Laptops may be checked out by current students with a valid university key card and a secondary form of picture ID.
You will need your email account username and password to access the wireless network. Late fines for laptops are $10 per hour and $1 per hour for power adapters.
Print on Campus
All printing and copying in the library is provided by the campus-wide Pay for Print program. Documents sent to the print queue may be picked up at any printer or copier connected to the network. Basic costs are $0.10 per page for black and white and $0.55 for color. To learn more about Pay for Print, including print locations and information on installing the print driver on your own laptop, go to the Pay for Print website.
Install Pay for Print on Your Laptop:
You can install the Pay for Print system on your own computer by following the instructions in the following link. This will give you the ability to print from anywhere on campus and pick it up at any Pay for Print station.

Suggest a Purchase
If you would like the library to order something for the collection, please fill out the form. Before suggesting a title, make sure that we do not already own it by checking the library catalog.
Note that making a suggestion does not guarantee that an item will be purchased. All suggestions are reviewed for appropriateness for the library collections and budget.
