The annual Exemplary Practices in Education Leadership Conference, featuring Michael Fullan, will be held October 2, 2014 in Clovis, California at the Clovis Memorial District building. Michael Fullan, will deliver both a morning and an afternoon keynote on systemic change, P-16.
This one-day conference is designed for P-16 educational leaders—superintendents, district leaders, principals, site leaders, teacher leaders, deans, and higher education faculty—to explore the roles and critical actions of leaders as they transform their organizations into collaborative cultures of 21st century learning for students and educators.
Morning Breakout Sessions will highlight exceptional practices related to Integrating Technology into Teaching and Learning, Developing and Sustaining Equitable Systems, Early Education Initiatives, Assessments for and of Learning, Change Leadership in Action and Aligning Instruction for the 21st Century. A roundtable discussion will feature leaders from Central Valley higher education Institutes.
- Examine the current role of educational leaders
- Identify high leverage activities that impact teacher and student learning
- Explore the knowledge and skills required to be an effective change leader
- Gain a broader understanding of the school-change process.
About Michael Fullan
