Named Scholarships

Purpose

The Named Scholarship program provides private donors and businesses the opportunity to connect directly with our students, while furthering our program mission of training diverse rehabilitation counselors to meet the critical needs of people with disabilities.

One-time monetary donations of $50,000, $25,000, and $5,000 provide for annual scholarship awards given to deserving students in the name of the patron.

Visionary $50,000

As a Visionary Donor, your one-time $50,000 contribution will fund an annual scholarship award to an outstanding Rehabilitation Counseling student who has passion to serve clients with disabilities and demonstrated academic excellence that truly sets them apart.

Advocate $25, 000

As an Advocate Donor, your one-time $25,000 contribution will fund an annual merit-based scholarship award to a Rehabilitation Counseling student.

Supporter $5,000

As a Supporter Donor, your one-time $5,000 contribution will fund an annual need-based scholarship award to a Rehabilitation Counseling student.

Adopt a Student

Donors contributing to this scholarship program are able to develop the scholarship selection criteria. This could include fees, tuition costs, etc. Adopt-A-Student donor contributions provide for a scholarship that will cover the chosen student's academic fees for one year.

How You Can Contribute

  • Send a tax-deductible contribution for the amount you decide and make check payable to CSU, Fresno Foundation and specify on your check which scholarship you would like to donate to.
  • Purchase a life insurance policy with the program as a benefactor.
  • Or, as each person is unique, it would be best to meet with you and discuss your personal preference of giving.
