School Partnership Cohorts and Teacher Residency Program

We are a partnership-based program. Central Valley Partnerships for Exemplary Teachers offers a collaborative approach to teacher education that involves school district personnel and university faculty in supervision and professional development roles within the schools. Partnerships are daytime programs that use district facilities for university coursework and field experiences, allowing the candidates and university faculty to become part of the culture of the school and the cycle of the school year. Teacher candidates move through the program as a cohort.

We have Multiple Subject partnership cohorts in the following districts:

  • Central
  • Clovis
  • Fresno (Teacher Residency Program)
  • Porterville
  • South Valley (College of the Sequoias)
  • Sanger
