Applying to the Teacher Internship Program


  1. Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college/university
  2. Complete a course in the U.S. Constitution or pass an approved exam
  3. Admissions
    1. Fresno State as a post-baccalaureate student

  4. Complete prerequisite courses:
    1. Multiple Subject: Prerequisites are EHD 50, CI100 & CI 162.

  5. Meet the Subject Matter Competency either by CSET exam or coursework
  6. Acceptance to Final Student Teaching only if you are in the last phase of the credential.

Complete the Teacher Internship Program Application

The application will include the following:

  1. A one-page narrative explaining why you would be successful as a teacher intern.
  2. Provide two letters of support with signature across the seal from:
    - Master teacher
    - University supervisor from the "Initial Student Teaching" experience
