The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is an online program with a focus on social justice, multiculturalism, and action research. The program is designed for credentialed, practicing teachers working in diverse classrooms.
The Master of Arts degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction (MAE-C&I) is a 30-unit graduate program designed for teachers and other professionals who desire advanced study in curriculum, instruction, educational psychology, research design, and educational statistics. Although a majority of MAE-C&I students are teachers, a teaching credential is not a requirement for admission.
