Brief Introductory Statement
Dr. Yu joined the Department of Viticulture and Enology faculty in the fall of 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Viticulture. Prior to this appointment at Fresno State, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Oakville Station at the Department of Viticulture and Enology, UC Davis.
His primary research focuses include berry/wine flavonoid composition as affected by abiotic stress, vineyard cultural practices, vineyard mechanization, and precision viticulture. He teaches introduction to viticulture and wine grape production in the Fresno State Department of Viticulture and Enology.
