Brief Introductory Statement

Dr. Kelm is the Senior Research Chemist at Constellation Brands and Polyphenolics. Previously he was employed by Mars Inc., where he conducted work on chocolate and pet food chemistry.

His M.S.thesis project at Michigan State was, "Biologically active extracts from Magnolia spp. and compounds from Magnolia salicifolia" and his Ph.D. dissertation title was, "Bioactive compounds from Ocimum sanctum Linn. Lamiaceae."

His research interests include natural products chemistry, processing effects, chemical ecology and agricultural waste stream utilization for value added product development. Additional information can be found on the CV.
