Brief Introductory Statement

Upon completing his B.S. degree in enology in May 2018 from the Fresno Department of Viticulture and Enology, Javier was selected by the Fresno State Winery to fill the annual winery apprentice position for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

In this position Javier plays an important role for the winery, performing a wide range of responsibilities and assisting the Fresno State winemaker, Tom Montgomery, with all aspects of winery operations and  production.
