Department of Viticulture and Enology

Giving

The Viticulture and Enology program at Fresno State has a long history of private industry support. Over the years, there have been several successful fundraising efforts and campaigns to support facilities and positions within our viticulture and enology research and academic programs.

Developing partnerships with our industry and alumni are an essential part of our tradition.  Please consider giving to this one-of-a-kind program.

Successful Major Campaigns Include

  • World Cooperage Barrel House (2002)
  • Viticulture and Enology Endowment Fund Campaign* (1990's)
  • Viticulture and Enology Building Campaign* (1980's)
  • Viticulture Building Campaign* (1970's)

* Donor names are acknowledged in the DVE-VERC building on campus

Associates Campaign: Support viticulture and enology education and research

The Viticulture and Enology Associates Campaign is an ongoing fund-raising campaign designed to support the activities within California State University, Fresno's viticulture and enology program that fall outside of university and grant funding.

Under the direction of the department chair and research director, this source of funding is used annually to promote our research and teaching programs and to extend our activities to the grape and wine industry, including our ability to participate at professional meetings such as the annual Unified Wine & Grape Symposium.

The ongoing struggle with our state budget has made this supplementary funding more important than ever.  Every dollar makes a difference.

On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff, thank you for your continued support and generosity.
