Schedule Of Events

Friday, February 10th

  • 8 a.m.  Barns available for Steers, Market Heifers and Breeding Heifers.
    Cattle scales will be open and available all day.  Exhibitors can set up tack and beds in the cattle barns on Thursday February 9th.  Cattle will not be pre stalled in the barn - just be considerate of other exhibitors in taking up space in the barn.
     

Saturday, February 11th

  • 9 a.m.  All Steers and Market Heifers must be in place and weigh cards turned in for Steers and Market Heifers.
    9 a.m.  Market Beef Showmanships (Fitting is optional) in age order followed by Showmanship Shoot Out followed by Market Beef Show (Prospect followed by Progress Steers and Market Heifers).
    Market Beef Animals released after their respective classes and after their stalls and feed alleys have been cleaned - be sure to pick up cash premiums before leaving the grounds.
    8 p.m.  Weigh cards must be turned in for Grade Heifers
    8 p.m.  All Breeding Heifers must be in place and registration papers checked in at the Show Office.
     

Sunday February 12th

  • 9 a.m.  Breeding Heifer Showmanships (Fitting is optional) in age order followed by Showmanship Shoot Out followed by heifer breed shows in class order (heifers released after their respective breed shows and after their stalls and feed alleys have been cleaned - be sure to pick up cash premiums before leaving the grounds). 

 

Thursday, March 9th

  • 4 p.m.  Barns available for Sheep and Goats.

Friday, March 10th

  • 6 a.m.  Barns available for Sheep and Goats.
  • 9 a.m.  Weigh cards must be turned in for Sheep and Goats.
  • 10 a.m.  Sheep Showmanships in age order (Sheep/Hog Ring) followed by the Sheep Show (Prospect followed by Progress followed by Market Lambs).
  • 11 a.m.  Goat Showmanships in age order (Cattle Ring) followed by the Doe Show followed by the Market Goat Show (Prospect followed by Progress followed by Market Goats)
  • All Sheep and Goats are released after their respective classes and after their pen areas have been cleared of trash - be sure to pick up cash premiums before leaving the grounds.


Saturday, March 11th

  • 9 a.m.  All Sheep and Goats must be off the grounds.
  • 1 p.m.  Barns available for Hog exhibitors.


Sunday, March 12th

  • 6 a.m.  Barns available for Hog exhibitors.
  • 9 a.m.  All Hogs must be in place and weigh cards must be turned for Hogs.
  • 9 a.m.  Hog showmanships in age order followed by Prospect, Progress, and Market hog classes in breed order (AOB, Duroc, Hampshire, Yorkshire, Light Cross and Dark Cross).  Hogs released after their respective classes and after their pens areas have been cleaned - be sure to pick up cash premiums before leaving the grounds.
