Graduate Laboratory

The Graduate Laboratory serves as a central analytical facility for four graduate programs in the college. Recent funding from the CSU Agricultural Research Initiative (ARI) and the USDA-HSI (Hispanic Serving Institution) program resulted in the purchase of new laboratory equipment such as an AQ2 multi-chemistry analyzer, nitrogen digestion block, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, C:N analyzer, refrigerated centrifuge, fat extractor, two Spectro Lysers, a multi-plate reader and a large table-top leaf area meter. A major gift to the College by the Jordan family has provided funds for the construction of the Jordan Agricultural Research Building which will significantly increase our laboratory space. Construction should begin in 2013.
