The V.E. Petrucci Library, supported by an endowment funded by the Department of Viticulture and Enology Alumni Association in 1996, has existed in some form throughout the history of the program at California State University, Fresno. Named for Vincent E. Petrucci, founder of the Viticulture and Enology programs at Fresno State and a legend in the field, the library supports and continues this legacy of excellence in academics, research, and extension in the heart of California's Central Valley.
The mission of the library is to serve the grape, wine, and raisin industries, the public, and the Department of Viticulture and Enology through access to research and information promoting the understanding and development of these disciplines. Library resources reflect the diversity of our patron community, with materials generated by the Department of Viticulture and Enology, by public and private research institutions and associations, and by other resources released regionally, nationally, and globally.
Summer hours will be effective from Monday, May 19- Friday, August 8, 2014.
