Ag In A Bag
A New Virtual Learning Experience for Kids!
Fresno State is home to one of the largest, most successful agriculture programs in the country. From hundreds of acres of crops, to our student-run dairy, and commercially licensed winery here on campus, Fresno State provides students with a hands-on education in agriculture which simply isn't available anywhere else.
This summer, the Institute for Food and Agriculture is also offering a virtual option "Ag In A Bag" that can be accessed online any time after June 1, 2021. There will be 5 weeks worth of material with a new topic introduced each Tuesday in June.
June 1st- Beef Week
June 8th- Soil Week
June 15th- Plant Week
June 22nd- Dairy Week
June 29th- Water Week
A number of ag/ag science topics will be available via a virtual format featuring instruction and activities presented by Fresno State students. These are FREE and available to all with wifi access. There are some supplies associated with these activities. The supplies are readily available around most homes but we will also be providing an all inclusive bag for sale at the Gibson Farm Market for $20. You can pay for the bag via this online portal, or in person at the Gibson Farm Market at the same time you are picking up your favorite GFM dairy, meats, fruits, vegetables, and ice cream items.
