Steve Olson held the position of Publications Editor for CATI from 1989-2014. He oversaw the dissemination of CATI and ARI research results through a variety of print publications. He obtained his bachelors degree in English Literature from Fresno Pacific University in 1973, a teaching credential in 1975, and a masters in nonfiction writing from Fresno State in 1984. He served a two-year term of Christian service as an elementary school teacher in Bolivia, South America, from 1975-77. He worked in the journalism profession from 1984 through 1989, holding the position of agricultural editor for the Turlock Journal from 1987-1989. He joined the CATI staff in 1989 as a contributing editor and served as its publications editor from 1992 until his retirement in December 2014. He enjoys recreational bicycle riding, camping, hiking, rock climbing, music, sports, and sometimes reading, in his spare time.
