Criminology Program Graduates Lauded by the Visalia City Council

On June 4th, 2001, the City Council of Visalia issued an official City of Visalia Resolution in honor of the following nine members of the Visalia Police Department who completed the Master of Science degree in Criminology from Fresno State as members of the Visalia Cohort:

• Candido Alvarez
• Ron Epp
• Lisa Grotto
• Steve Lampe
• Warren Logan
• Dominic Meno
• Robin Meyst
• Brent Miller
• Sonia Paine

The special resolution noted that the graduates "have made a substantial commitment of time and energy to obtain this degree," and recognized that these graduates will be "even more effective and efficient as they discharge their duties by equipping them with greater expertise, additional knowledge and the latest research in the area of criminology."

The Division of Graduate Studies also would like to add our congratulations to that of the Visalia City Council for these special members of the Visalia Police Department who received the M.S. in Criminology.
