A.  I Went to Seoul City
(aka Miss Lee's Hoochie)
Tune - "On Top of Old Smokey"

 I went to Seoul city,
 I met a Miss Lee.
She said for a "short time"
 Come spend it with me.

 I went to Lee's hoochie
 She slid shut the door
 Our shoes stayed outside
And she fired up the floor.

 She asked for 5000*
 T'was all that I had
She took off her long johns
 And rolled out the pad.

 Her breath smelled like kimshi
 Her bosom was flat,
 No hair on her "pogie"
 Now how about that?

 I asked to go "benjo"
 She led me outside
 I took out "old smoky"
 He crawled back inside.

 I ran to the medics,
Said, "Doc, what shall I do?"
 The Doc was dumfounded
 Old smoky was blue.

Now if you're in Seoul city
 On your next three-day pass,
 Take my advice
And sit flat on your ass

Now your ass may grow tender
And Miss Lee may tempt you
 But better a "red ass"
 Than old smoky blue.

   * 5000 wan equaled about twenty-five cents.

This song seem to have still some oral currency but it is now being sung to "Sweet Betsy From Pike" according to the the songbook of the 43rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, Elmendorf A.F.B., Alaska.  See here.

The Hash House Harriers of Seoul also sing the song to "Sweet Betsy From Pike".   See here.
