DESCRIPTION: Of all the priests, "Father O'Flynn [is] the flower of them all ... Powerfulest preacher, and Tinderest teacher, and Kindliest creature in ould Donegal." When the Bishop "looked grave" at a joke he answered "Cannot the clergy be Irishmen too?"
