NOTES [47 words]: At least one source calls this a "Traditional Black Spiritual," and Sanders-SingHighSingLow describes it as a "Negro Spiritual," but I have yet to find it in a genuine spiritual collection. I wonder if this does not arise by confusion of title with "All Day, All Night, Merriam." - RBW
