Apply for Funding
Fresno State faculty, staff and currently enrolled students can apply for funding to support their civic engagement and service-learning efforts. Applications should be brief (maximum of three pages, 12 point font) and should contain the following:
- Name of applicant and all relevant contact information.
- Information on the program/project for which you are requesting funding.
- Include details regarding: what service the student will perform; the learning outcomes of the service; and how the service will meet community need.
- Total amount of funds being requested and how they will be used. (Please note that funding levels typically run between $250 and $2,000. It is extremely rare that an applicant will be awarded more than $2,000.)
- Any other information that you believe is relevant to this request.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. It is recommended that requests be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to when the funds are needed. If there are significant reasons why a proposal can not be submitted with a minimum 30 day lead time, please contact Chris Fiorentino to provide information as to why your application for funding should still be considered.
