Explore Engineering Saturday Academy

Explore Engineering Saturday Academies are a series of workshops offered during the academic semester to elementary and middle school students to introduce them to different principles and fields of engineering, through fun activities.

These hands-on workshops are held in the engineering laboratories at Fresno State. Participants will learn about the principles of engineering, teamwork and have the opportunity to design interesting projects. Lyles College of Engineering students from a variety of different engineering and construction management disciplines serve as workshop facilitators.

Workshops are held once a month on a Saturday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There is a nominal fee of $25 per student (per workshop) - lunch included.

Saturday Academies are funded, in-part, by a grant from the James Irvine Foundation.

Stay tuned for our next Saturday Academy!
