About Us

The University Center to Advance Manufacturing will provide services to existing manufacturers in the fields of research and workforce development, testing and networking while simultaneously providing opportunities for current students and faculty through hands on experience and educational research.

The goals of UCAM are to support existing manufacturers and assist community development agencies with recruiting new manufactures to the valley. These goals coincide with the University's Strategic Vision of becoming "New California's premier engaged university, nationally recognized for our teaching, learning, transformational scholarship, and dynamic leadership which engages faculty, students, staff, and community in mutually beneficial and respectful collaboration benefiting the region and society as a whole."

The University Center to Advance Manufacturing will be collaborating with several Colleges on Fresno State's campus. Our goal is to create multiple partnerships that will allow us to utilize all the resources the campus community has to offer. Our partners include the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, The Lyles College of Engineering, The Department of Industrial Technology in addition to collaboration with the Sid Craig School of Business.
