Process Controls and Automation Academy

The Process Controls and Automation Academy  (PCAA) is a co-curricular professional development program for students and professionals interested in expanding their skills for careers and opportunities in the manufacturing industry. 

The PCA Academy is offering a free, non-credit course to current Fresno State students in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, and Mechanical Engineering spanning 12 weeks. Students will use state of the art technologies from Fanuc America

The spring course will cover: Introduction and utilization of Industrial robots industrial applications, safety, project design concepts, and best practices, I/O devices, and diagnostic tools.

The course is FREE of cost to those FRESNO STATE STUDENTS that register and complete the program. 

Course and Schedule: Spring Course starts on February 5th, 2024

Foundations of Manufacturing Automation for currently enrolled Fresno State students

Monday's 6 to 9 p.m. -February 5 through April 29, 2024

Class size will be limited to 14 students. Classes will include daily lectures, with hands on lab exercises. Students will work in pairs. Please see the weekly schedule below for more details.
