A record-breaking 41 competitors went six rounds (one preliminary round, four regular rounds, and one semi-final round) before all but two students were eliminated. After a harrowing final round, for the first time ever, a Math 76 (Calculus II) student, Ruhan Lu, achieved the top prize. Ruhan took home a $100 Kennel Bookstore gift card and an Integration Bee Champion t-shirt. Jamie Chang took second place and was awarded a $50 Kennel Bookstore gift certificate.
