Want to become a student helper for the Fresno Math Circle?

Our student helpers assist faculty with the Fresno Math Circle activities every other Saturday from 9:40 - 11:40 am (check calendar for the exact dates). Occasionally they independently lead an entire session of the Math Circle. In addition, in the spring semester they lead Math Kangaroo preparation sessions (check calendar for dates). On average student helpers spend an additional 2 hours of preparation time per meeting.

Student helpers gain valuable experience in working with elementary, middle, and high school students and are paid $16-$17/hour.

To apply for a student helper position,

  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Download the Fresno Math Circle preview problems and solve as many problems as you can. E-mail your work to fresnomathcircle@gmail.com no later than 1 week after completion of the application form. Please write "Student Helper Application" in the "Subject" line of your e-mail.
