Dr. Rudy J. Sanchez
Rudy is an associate professor of management in the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno. He earned his Ph.D. at Portland State University in Systems Science: Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
Rudy is a highly rated instructor and trainer. He has provided leadership training to over 400 managers and executives from a variety of profit, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies including Pelco, Community Medical Centers, Comcast, Fresno County Superior Court, and the City of Fresno Airports Division. He has also delivered several invited speeches to professional organizations on leadership, motivation, and strategy. He teaches a variety of courses in the Craig School of Business in the undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA programs. His teaching interests include leadership, motivation in the workplace, effective decision making, and human resource management. He has served as a Promoting Active Learning and Critical Thinking (ProACT) fellow for the Center for the Scholarly Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CSALT).
Rudy’s research interests include leadership, trust development in organizations, motivation, and fairness in human resource management processes. His research has appeared in prestigious academic journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and the International Journal of Selection and Assessment.

Dr. Ida Jones

Ida M. Jones is the Director of the Center for the Scholarly Advancement
of Learning and Teaching (CSALT) and is the Verna Mae and Wayne D.
Brooks Professor of Business Law at the Craig School of Business,
California State University Fresno. Ida earned her J.D. at New York
University.
Ida is one of the faculty coordinators for Technology
Innovations for Learning and Teaching (TILT), assisting faculty use
technology to promote learning. She teaches the introductory business
law course for undergraduate business majors and sports marketing law
for sports marketing majors. Ida teaches in the MBA and Executive MBA
programs. Ida has taught courses in human resources law and ethics for a
variety of businesses, including PELCO, St. Agnes Medical Center and
others.
Ida’s research interests involve promoting and improving
learning through innovative and also proven teaching methods. These
have included using Second Life (a 3D virtual world), Twitter (idaj) and
many online tools to engage students and improve the learning
environment. Ida has focused on technology and pedagogy in research and
publications. Professor Jones has authored/coauthored instructor's
manuals for business law textbooks, prepared Internet exercises for
textbook publishers and published articles in a variety of journals,
including the Journal of Legal Studies Education.
