MBA 281: International Business with emphasis on Asia / China (3 units)
Course Objective: Examination of current topics related to international business with a particular emphasis on Asia, especially China. Areas of study may include but are not limited to international finance, logistics, regulatory environments, trade including import/export concerns, the transition and growth of the Chinese economy, and relevant political environments. Lecture and cases.
MBA 289T: Global Business Ventures (3 units)
Course Objective: Learn two significant areas when venturing globally. The first area will emphasize establishing a market presence to include analysis of problems of product design, channel structure, promotion, and inter-organization cooperation and control in international marketing. Additional emphasis on the importance of business planning and also cultural variances will be included. The second area of focus will consider the concepts and techniques in global finance and foreign direct investment. This will include a discussion of the international financial system emphasizing currency markets, balance of payments; risks and exposure management concepts.
Four weeks in Fresno: May 19 - June 12, 2014
Two week in Hong Kong: June 14 - June 28, 2014

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 2 - Course Approval Form
Print out the Course Approval Form by clicking here. Fresno State applicants need to obtain signature from the Craig MBA office (PB 183).
STEP 3 - Transcript
Print out your unofficial transcript and submit it along with the application package.
STEP 4 - Scholarship
Scholarship is available to the CSB MBA students. You can apply by clicking here.
STEP 5 - Payment
Instruction will be provided later.
STEP 6 - Document Submission
Submit the following required documents to IBP office (PB 189) by March 3, 2014 (Early submission is recommended).

STEP 7 - Passport and Visa
You should find out about specific visa requirements depending on your nationality. Please remember any travel abroad requires a valid Passport.
Students who have a US Passport do not need a visa enter Hong Kong and Macau. If you have another country's passport, please visit Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in San Francisco to find out if you need to apply for a visa.
