"Building Bridges of Trust In The Family Business"presented by Ed Hart, Director
The Center for Family Business
Cal State Fullerton,
and President of Hart Professional Service

When you think of the word “trust” what comes to
mind? Who do you trust, and why? Who don’t you trust and why not? Trust is like a bridge. It allows us to work together as a team and move from point A to point B. Also like a bridge, trust can take a long time to build and be lost in the blink of an eye.

With 70% of family enterprises failing to transition to the
next generation, trust is often at the heart of this challenge.
Whether a breach of trust in the family occurred years ago,
the senior generation of leadership does not have faith in the
next generation to successfully guide the business into the
future, or the level of trust between family members is low,
trust is often at the core of any family challenge.

The presentation will include a question and answer session. A wine and cheese networking reception will follow the event.
