The Fresno State Alumni Association is dedicated to uniting and advancing the interests and traditions of alumni and friends of California State University, Fresno, and providing scholarship opportunities that attract and support highly motivated students to the University.
The Department of Marketing & Logistics is very proud of the many successful alumni who have received their Bachelor's, Master's or both degrees at California State University, Fresno.
Each year, one alumnus of each of the university’s eight colleges and schools and of the Division of Graduate Studies, Henry Madden Library, Division of Student Affairs and Division of Athletics is chosen as Top Dog Outstanding Alumni representing their area.
In 2010, Ashley Swearengin - Department of Marketing & Logistics MBA graduate received the Top Dog Outstanding Alumni Award. This distinguished award is the highest honor given to an alumnus of the university. The university president and the alumni association present the award. The award is based on scholarship, leadership and service to the university, the San Joaquin Valley and the State of California.
- Craig School of Business - Department of Marketing & Logistics: Ashley Swearengin (1994 and MBA), elected Fresno mayor in 2008 after serving as Fresno State’s director of community and economic development and chief operations officer of the Fresno Regional Jobs Initiative.
