Captain Rachel C. Grosskrueger

GKBIOGRAPHY

Captain Rachel C. Grosskrueger is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 035, Fresno State.  In this capacity she is responsible for the recruitment, evaluation, and development of prospective Air Force Officers.

Prior to her AFROTC assignment, Captain Grosskrueger served as the Requirements and Optimization Officer in Charge for the 60th Civil Engineer Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, California. She was responsible for overseeing work orders, preventative maintenance, and repair of the operational airfield, base infrastructure, pavements, and facilities for Air Mobility Command’s largest mobility wing.

Captain Grosskrueger earned her commission in 2016 as the distinguished graduate of the ROTC program at the University of Colorado Boulder, CO. She attended the Civil Engineer basic course at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio in 2016 and from 2016 to 2020 served as a Civil Engineer attached to the 60th Civil Engineer Squadron, Travis AFB, CA. In 2019, she was hand selected to deploy to the Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, Cuba where she led the 474th Air Expeditionary Squadron as the Squadron Deputy Commander and Operations Officer in Charge in support of Operation FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.
