About Us

StudentsThe Asian Social Work Student Organization (ASWSO) is a group comprised of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the social work program at Fresno State. Founded in 1989, the group's purpose is to promote the involvement of its members in academic and community-related social work issues. Additionally, the group serves as a positive educational and social support system for group members. 

Meeting Dates

ASWSO’s meetings are on Wednesday's in PHS 129. Time varies from 5:00pm - 5:30 pm depending on members' schedules. However, the president will send out email notifications to all members and students in regards to upcoming events, and meeting dates and time.

PLEASE NOTE: First meeting for 2019-20 will be Tuesday, September 3rd in PHS 129 from 5-6 pm.
