Field Based Trainer
Sheryl Brown-Bowden is a Field Based Trainer for the Specialized Foster Parent Training Project at CSU Fresno. She received her education in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development at California State University, Fresno. She brings with her over 10 years of Child Development experience. She has worked for the Head Start Program as a Special Education Specialist, where she coordinated services, which included training for children with special needs. Sheryl has worked for Save the Children as a Leadership Coordinator where she coordinated trainings and events. She is a certified CPR/First Aid and Pride Trainer.
She also brings with her an extensive background in Pastoral Leadership here in Fresno where she Pastor’s the New Birth Evangelistic Center Church in West Fresno. Sheryl is dedicated to working with children and families and it is her desire to help make these families stronger and a productive part of the community.
