CSDS 125 – Audiology and Audiometry for School Nurses
California State University, Fresno – Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies Department (CSDS)

Special Sessions Course (Fall and Spring semesters) and Summer Session Course (Summer session) through the Continuing and Global Education (CGE) Department

  • Course is typically offered fall (usually starts in August) and spring (usually starts in January).  Note:  Due to university policy changes, the course will not be offered in the summer.
  • The course is fully ONLINE.
  • Asynchronous learning (work on it when you want, but must meet posted deadlines).
  • Requires one zoom meeting with instructor at a mutually agreed upon day/time.
  • Fall and spring course are typically 8 weeks in duration.
  • Meets requirements for obtaining California’s Department of Health Services School Audiometrist Certification.
  • Meets pre-requisite requirement for nurses applying for their School Nurse Credential.
  • Great elective for ALL nursing majors, including Master level PNP and FNP students.
