Common Core 3.0
CalSWEC, with the support of the State of California, Regional Training Academies, and Community Partners engaged in a large-scale revision of the Common Core training materials for new Child Welfare Social Workers and Supervisors. The training format includes classroom learning, eLearning, and Field Activities to provide a variety of learning modalities and transfer of learning opportunities.
The Central California Training Academy worked diligently with CalSWEC and CDSS to prepare for implementation. We encourage you to send feedback to us about your experience with the new curriculum, as we are committed to making this a success for new social workers, trainers, and county stakeholders.
