Joanne Pritchard received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2005. She has worked in Public Child Welfare since 2000 as a Social Worker, Social Work Supervisor, and Trainer. For over 12 years, Joanne supported Fresno County’s work with the Family to Family Initiative, Team Decision-Making, Quality Supervision, Permanency Teaming Meetings, and California Partners for Permanency. She is passionate about child-centered, family-focused best practices in child welfare. Currently, Joanne works in multiple capacities for organizations supporting social work training: Training and Implementation Specialist for California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC) at UC Berkeley; Trainer for Central California Training Academy (CCTA); Trainer for UC Davis Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice (RCFFP); and Curriculum and E-Learning Specialist for CCTA.
