A Regional Voice for Nursing

Established in 2006, the Central California Center for Excellence in Nursing is committed to addressing the region's critical nursing shortage through collaboration with academic, clinical and community partners to develop and retain nurses, nursing specialists, leaders and educators to serve our diverse region.

The center provides strong, innovative and well- focused leadership that joins education, research, and clinical practice leveraging the broadest range of health care resources to educate and retain quality nurses to create a healthier region.

To advance nursing education, research and clinical practice in the Central San Joaquin Valley through collaboration with academic, clinical, and community partners, leveraging the broadest range of health care expertise and resources. 

Vision

To positively impact the health and wellness of residents in the Central San Joaquin Valley by enhancing the development and retention of quality nurses.
