APS The Revised SOC 242

This eLearning was developed by the APS Training Project, a project of the Academy for Professional Excellence, San Diego State University School of Social Work in collaboration with the Protective Services Operations Committee and CDSS Adults Programs Policy and Operations Bureau.

The Adult Protective Services and County Services Block Grant Monthly Statistical Report known as the SOC 242, is the state mandated form each county completes on a monthly basis. The form tracks how many reports were taken, how many investigations were conducted, the types of abuse allegations investigated, the number of cases completed and the findings of the investigations among other things.

This training is intended for managers, supervisors and those that make case status decisions and/or complete the SOC 242.
