Adobe Workshops

Adobe Photoshop Fundamentals 

This class provides an overview of using Photoshop to create art, including a basic understanding of importing files, typography, image editing and retouching, using layers, and exporting files to PDF. Students will need to bring a laptop with the software already installed. A 30-day trial of the software is available at www.adobe.com.

Instructor: Doug Morris is currently a freelance illustrator who spent 25+ years working as an Art & Creative Director in both national and local advertising agencies. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, he has won numerous awards for advertising design and has taught classes in Concept Development and Professional Practices for Graphic Designers for Fresno State’s Graphic Design department.

This course provide an overview for using Adobe Illustrator to create artwork, including a basic understanding of importing images, typography, converting rastered images to vector images, converting type to outlines, and exporting files to PDF. Students will need to bring a laptop with the software already installed. A 30-day trial of the software is available at www.adobe.com.
