Teach With Us!

Interested in sharing your expertise with others? Continuing and Global Education is looking for instructors for a variety of workshops in the Central Valley. 

Most of our participants are adults and working professionals. Programs are often scheduled on weekday evenings, weekends, online, or a mix of the three. Programs may be held on the Fresno State campus, off-campus (if subject matter or audience warrants a specific location), as video-based courses, or as self-paced online learning modules.

For nontraditional students.

Our most successful courses have

A defined want or need in the local community; are marketable to a large, general audience or a specific organization, discipline, or enthusiast group; enhance participants' knowledge or skills (professional, personal, or creative); challenge participants to broaden their horizons, personally or professionally; engage participants with a mix of activities.

Instructor Requirements

Have a degree OR extensive experience in their field; reside in the state of California while teaching this course; have the right to work in the United States (Fresno State will verify employment eligibility according to USCIS Form I-9). Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Depending on length, content, and delivery, noncredit courses take 4-6 months to develop from conception to launch.
