How do I enroll?
Registration Dates: Register and pay fees online or in person August 21 through September 18, 2014. No registration is allowed after Thursday, September 18. (see Dates to Remember)
1. Review and select courses from the university Fall 2014 Class Schedule. It can be accessed online at http://fresnostate.edu. Click on “Academics” tab and select “Class Schedule” listed under “Additional Resources”.
2. Report to the first class meeting of each course you wish to enroll in and obtain a permission number from the instructor. See Note 1 (click here) for exceptions. Also please refer to information regarding online (web-enhanced/web-based) courses (click here).
3. Enroll and pay online. Enroll online beginning Thursday, August 21. Go to: http://www.fresnostate.edu/cge/registration/index.html to get complete instructions for online registration and payment. Fees must be paid within 24 hours of registration. See payment information (click here). International students are required to contact the International Student Services and Programs (ISSP) office at 559.278.2782 or email Paul Hofmann at email@example.com.

Note 1. Education and Counseling Students: A permission number is required to enroll through Open University in any counseling or education course (CI [except CI 161], COUN, EAD, EHD, ERA, LEE, REHAB, SPED). Prior to obtaining a permission number from ED205, you must complete the permission form available at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/cge/documents/OpenUniversityApproval.pdf, obtain signature from the instructor, the program coordinator, and the KSOEHD Associate Dean. Once permission number is obtained, you may enroll and pay online or in person.
Note 2. Independent Study, Internships and other “Special” courses: Obtain a permission number from the department and enroll online or in person.
Note 3. Grading Option: Select your choice of grading option—Letter or CR/NC (credit or no credit)—choosing only what is available for your class (verify with department if enrolling in person). The grading option you choose will be posted on your permanent transcript, providing that option is available for the course. If no option is selected, the default option will be letter grade.
