Continuing Education programs not affected by CSU admissions closure

Courses offered by the Division of Continuing and Global Education (CGE) are not impacted by the California State University admissions freeze and enrollment is open for all courses offered through CGE.

Among the opportunities available through CGE are Open University, which allows individuals to register for regular university courses on a space available basis without being admitted to Fresno State; and Intersession, which occurs between regular semesters and offers credit courses that anyone can attend.

NEW! ONLINE REGISTRATION

For students enrolling in credit courses through Division of Continuing and Global Education

Extension students enrolling in credit classes (including through Open University) are now able to enroll online. Students enrolling in classes for upcoming semesters can go online at http://www.csufresno.edu/cge/registration to enroll.

  • For unrestricted classes a student can go online, enroll and pay their fees without contacting instructors or program coordinators.
  • For restricted classes students can enroll and pay fees after obtaining a permission number from the instructor or department.
  • For enrollment through Open University, students can enroll online and pay their fees only after obtaining a "permission number" from instructor or department. For more information on Open University go to http://www.csufresno.edu/cge/programs/open.shtml

Fees must be paid at the time of registration.
