Help Desk

Students may reach the Help Desk by calling 559.278.7000, or through the website at https://help.csufresno.edu. Students who need assistance with Blackboard login may also contact the Help Desk.

Continuing and Global Education

The Division of Continuing and Global Education is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through May 25, 2012. Summer office hours begin May 29, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The university is closed on May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. We are located in the Kremen Education Building, Room 130 (559.278.0333).

Textbooks

Beginning May 21, textbooks will be available at the Kennel Bookstore on the Fresno State Campus. Information about textbooks is available from your instructor or the bookstore (www.kennelbookstore.com). Bookstore hours from May 21-25 are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Kennel Bookstore will be closed on May 28 for Memorial Day. Beginning May 29, Kennel Bookstore hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Subject to change.

Library

The Henry Madden Library will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The library will be closed Saturdays, Sundays and on May 28. An active Fresno State student ID is required, see below to attain a card.

Student ID Cards

Students without an active student ID card may purchase a Spring/Summer CGE-student ID card for $5.00. The ID card provides checkout privileges for materials in the library, access to services at the Health Center with a co-pay, and serves as a valid student ID card in the community. Students must first complete their registration; secondly, pay the $5.00 CGE Student ID card activation fee at the cashier’s window in the Joyal Building; after the fee has been posted, (24 hours) students may go to the Bulldog Card Office in Joyal, Room 156 to have their picture taken to obtain their ID card.

Health and Psychological Services

University Health and Psychological Services will be open May 21-25, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm, with limited services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. The Health Center will be closed on May 28. Beginning May 29, Monday through Friday, hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with minimal services from 12:00 noon to 12:30 pm daily. There will be a $15 co-pay per office visit. A Fresno State student ID is required. See instructions above to attain a card.

Services for Students with Disabilities

Support services are available by calling the Services for Students with Disabilities office at 559.278.2811.

Veterans Services

Information on State and Federal aid to veterans is available by calling Veterans Services, 559.278.7030.

Parking

Parking permits are required during May-June Intersession and may be obtained at my.csufresno.edu. Daily parking permits may be purchased for $3.00 per day from the dispensers located in the campus parking lots.

University Student Union

The University Student Union will be open Sundays from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm; Monday-Thursday, from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm; Fridays, from 7:00 am until 12:00 midnight; and Saturdays, from 8:00 am until 12:00 midnight. The building will be closed May 28 in observance of Memorial Day.

University Courtyard

Students enrolled in May-June Intersession may apply for residence hall housing online at www.universitycourtyard.org or by visiting the Atrium Customer service desk.
