You are an International Student if:
You are not a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident (Green Card)
You hold or intend to hold non-immigrant F-1 or J-1 visa status while you are studying
at Fresno State.

How to Apply |

1. Submit a Cal State Apply online and pay $70 USD (non-refundable) by credit card. OR Submit the Paper Application. To avoid errors, please type your information in the fillable form. Then, pay $70 USD (non-refundable) at https://commerce.cashnet.com/fresnoem_ISSP by credit card. Or, it can be paid by check, money order, or bank draft. Please make it payable to "California State University, Fresno". |

2. English language proficiency (Institutional Code: 4312) Also email in an unofficial score report along with other required documents. TOEFL – 80 iBT, or IELTS – 6.5, or Duolingo - 105 (some programs require 110), or Pearson’s Test of English - 53, or iTEP – 4.5 If a graduate applicant has earned a bachelors or master's degree from a college or university in the United States, the TOEFL or other English language proficiency exam is not required. *CSU Fresno interprets "where English is the principal language of instruction" to mean that a school is located in a country where English is the daily medium of communication for the majority of residents and that students receive academic instruction in English at all levels of education. 3. Original or certified copies of in-progress or final transcripts: All university marksheets, transcripts and *degree certificate with literal English translation. Secondary school (high school) documentations are not required. *Degree certificate (or diploma) is available at the time of applying for admission. |

4. Passport: Submit a copy of the information/photo passport page. |
|
5. Official GRE or GMAT (see programs that require the exam in the Step 6). Also email in an unofficial score report along with other required documents. |

7. Financial document (no older than 6 months) and Affidavit of Support from sponsors showing the amount and source of support for a minimum of one school
year of study. For details please review the estimated yearly cost chart. *You may submit the two items after receiving the acceptance from the university. |
