The International Coffee Hour (ICH) Program brings people from different cultural backgrounds in the world to share the history, customs, economy, culture, and current situations of their countries. The International Coffee Hour is designed for faculty, staff, and students at California State University, Fresno, as well as for people in the surrounding communities. The program helps international students integrate into the new environment. It also enables the community to have access to a great variety of cultures that represent one of the biggest assets of California State University, Fresno.

ICNInternational Education Week
November 16 - 22, 2020

IEW is hosted and sponsored by the International Office and Division of Continuing and Global Education. Details coming soon 2020 for this year’s IEW.

International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State. Inaugurated by President Bill Clinton in 2000, IEW celebrates the importance and benefits of international education in the U.S. and around the world. Today, IEW is celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Since its inception in 2000, IEW has helped to showcase international education and foster inter-cultural understanding at Fresno State and beyond.  IEW's focus has always been to promote awareness and understanding of our world’s diverse cultures both abroad, as well as within our own campus community. We hope that this year’s exciting events will provide you with a wealth of fun and interesting opportunities to experience the many cultures that are part of the Fresno State community through food, music, dance, lectures and more.

IEW's mission is particularly relevant in 2020, which has been rocked by global health concerns and travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, we should come together and celebrate the importance of international education and the global ties shared by SF State students, staff, and alumni around the world.

We encourage members of the Fresno State community to participate in our virtual events.
