General Blackboard and IT support will be available during Winter Intersession via the Help Desk. The Help Desk will be available by phone at 559.278.5000. Help Desk tickets can also be submitted any time via the web by visiting https://help.fresnostate.edu/. Once there, log in and click on ONLINE FORMS and select the appropriate form to submit.
Help Desk Hours
- The Help Desk will be open 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. December 26 - 29, 2017
- The Help Desk will be closed on January 1, 2018
- The Help Desk will resume normal hours (7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) starting January 2, 2018
Continuing and Global Education
The Division of Continuing and Global Education is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through December 22, 2017. The office will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. We are located in the Kremen Education Building, Room 130 (559.278.0333).
Beginning Monday, December 18, 2017, textbooks will be available at Kennel Bookstore on the Fresno State Campus. Information about textbooks is available from your instructor or the bookstore (www.kennelbookstore.com).

The following is the Winter Intersession schedule for the Henry Madden Library:
- Open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, December 18, 2017 - January 12, 2018, with the following exceptions:
- December 25 (Christmas holiday)
- January 1 (New Year's holiday)
An active Fresno State student ID is required, see below to attain a card.
Student ID Cards
Students attending classes through Continuing and Global Education may obtain a Bulldog Card - Fresno State's official student ID. The card provides checkout privileges for materials in the library, access to services at the Health Center with a co-pay, free transportation on Fresno Area Transit (FAX) and Clovis Transit. Also available is the V-Line with transportation to and from Visalia and Fresno (five times a day) with a free punch pass available for pick-up at the Parking office. The Bulldog Card serves as a valid student ID card in the community and online. Students must first complete their course registration; second, pay the $5.00 CGE-Student Bulldog Card activation fee at the Cashier’s window in the Joyal Building; then go down the hall to the Bulldog Card Office (back of the building) to have a picture taken and obtain a card.
Student Health and Counseling Center
The Student Health and Counseling Center office will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Non-matriculated students pay $15 per office visit. No charge for office visits for matriculated students. A Fresno State student ID is required. See instructions above to attain a Student ID card.
Services for Students with Disabilities
The Services for Students with Disabilities office will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018. The office will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Support services are available by calling the Services for Students with Disabilities office at 559.278.2811.
Information on State and Federal aid to veterans is available by calling Veterans Services, 559.278.7030.
Short-term parking permits (for Winter Intersession only) may be purchased for $23.25 at the Traffic Operations Office in the Public Safety Building beginning November 20, 2017. These permits are valid through January 16, 2018. Bring your Fresno State I.D. number in order to purchase permit. Daily parking permits may be purchased for $3.00 per day from the dispensers located in the campus parking lots.Contact the Division of Continuing and Global Education if you need assistance with your I.D. number.

University Student Union
The University Student Union will be closed Friday, December 22, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018, reopening on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Fresno State students with a residence hall contract can stay in their rooms, free of charge, during Winter Intersession. Students are asked to notify the Atrium Customer Service desk of their plans.
Fresno State Police Department
The Police Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round. Safety Escorts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round. In the event of an emergency during the campus closure, call 9-1-1 from a campus phone, or contact the Police Department from your cell phone at: 559.278.8400. If you call 9-1-1 from your cell phone, advise the 9-1-1 dispatcher you are on the Fresno State campus and give your exact location.
