Reading Research
This online course focuses on learning the research and teaching strategies in the six language arts: listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and visually representing. Students will view videos, read texts and journal articles in focusing on early literacy, comprehension, vocabulary, and English language learners. Several 15-minute lectures highlighting the most important information will be presented and then students will have the opportunity to discuss, debate, or construct creative responses to information presented. Also, students will take four quizzes.
Ideal for elementary and middle school instructors.
