Expand your teaching skills by learning how to use many types of classroom presentation equipment in a fun and exciting workshop.
Course topics include:
- what students expect and want from your class
- making your overheads dazzle with skill and ingenuity
- when and how to use handouts
- e-books and speech compression
- different classroom techniques
- what to do with posters
- how to pace class
- flip chart techniques
- computer projection techniques
- various techniques for using videotapes
This class is particularly non-threatening because the instructor demonstrates the skills and techniques. You will not be required to make any presentations in class, although extensive class discussion and analysis is encouraged and is a critical part of the learning process.
Ideal for elementary, middle, high school, and college instructors.
