Curriculum Activities for the Elementary Classroom—An Independent Study Course

These standards-based instructional activities teach and reinforce many concepts taught in the elementary grades in the areas of math and science. Teachers will engage their students in grade-level appropriate learning games and hands-on science activities. Teachers will be presented with high-interest math activities that center around place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, time, money, and measurement.

Throughout this course, teachers will create an environment in which they work together with their students as active learners. In addition, teachers are encouraged to meet the particular needs of their students as they build on their questions and ideas. Assignments are available for use with or without student participation.

A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be granted to participants requesting a refund within 30 days of the registration date.
