Introduction to Glassblowing

Beginning glass blowing will allow students to explore molten glass as an art medium. There will be emphasis on design concepts and how to create these designs using liquid glass as a sculptural medium. Decorating techniques will be demonstrated for students to incorporate with their personal designs. Students will work in a series to develop a concept and demonstrate personal style.

Students will be required to purchase roughly $50 of materials/supplies for this course. This course may only be taken for credit/no credit; a letter grade is not available.
