A student can attend classes leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree and can earn a credential or certificate at the CSUF/COS Center in Visalia. The center offers courses at times that are convenient to reentry as well as community college transfer students.

The center's students are registered as regular Fresno State students, earning resident credit for completed courses, with the majority of courses being delivered via instructional television.

Coursework and degrees offered at the CSUF/COS Center are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The center is located on the College of the Sequoias campus and has been established as a cooperative arrangement between California State University, Fresno and the College of the Sequoias. The purpose of the center is to provide higher educational opportunities to the communities of Tulare and Kings counties.
